Viktorija Gečytė

Viktorija Gečytė is a Lithuanian-born jazz singer known for her elegant, sultry voice and sophisticated style that captivates audiences from Paris to New York. She began performing publicly at the age of five in Lithuania and later moved to the United States on a scholarship to Lafayette College, where she studied mathematics and economics while immersing herself in the New York jazz scene. Since settling in Paris, she has toured extensively across Europe and the US, often collaborating with renowned American bassist Gene Perla, with whom she has recorded several acclaimed albums like "In The Moment" and "No Detour Ahead" and embarked on numerous tours.

Her music blends classic jazz standards with original compositions, drawing inspiration from legends such as Carmen McRae and Abbey Lincoln. Viktorija leads her own projects, including Vik & The Vibe Tribe, and has co-led a big band project resulting in the album "Blue Lake," which explores jazz, classical, and folk influences.
