His most famous work is the score for the crime thriller *Get Carter* (1971), which remains an iconic piece of British film music. Over his career, he composed music for a variety of films, including *The Wild Geese*, *Fear Is the Key*, and *The Black Windmill*. Though he passed away in 1993, Budd's music continues to be celebrated for its distinctive, atmospheric quality.
