Pistols & Vultures

Pistols & Vultures is an alternative rock band from Ipswich and Colchester, formed in 2009 while its members were studying Popular Music at The Colchester Institute. The band consists of Carnell Cook on vocals, Alex Green handling guitars, bass, percussion, and backing vocals, and Freddie Cant on drums and percussion. Their music blends rock, soul, and post-punk elements, drawing influences from artists like Hendrix, Zeppelin, Queen, and The Clash. Their sound is often compared to bands like Biffy Clyro and Incubus, with a unique dimension added by Cook's inspirations from Marvin Gaye and Luther Vandross. One of their notable releases is the mini-album "Seven," which features tracks like "Pride" and "Ricochet" that showcase their energetic and soulful style.
