Melody Louledjian

Melody Louledjian is a highly acclaimed French lyric soprano of Armenian origin. She began her musical journey by studying piano at the Nice Conservatory, where she earned her diploma with unanimous approval. Her passion for opera led her to the Conservatoire National de Musique de Lyon, where she studied with Françoise Pollet, and later refined her skills with Edith Mathis at the Hochschule in Vienna. Melody Louledjian is celebrated for her versatility, effortlessly navigating both classical and contemporary repertoires. Her repertoire includes over thirty roles, with notable performances as Violetta in *La Traviata*, Lucia in *Lucia di Lammermoor*, Musetta in *La Bohème*, and Norina in *Don Pasquale*. She is a frequent guest at prestigious venues and festivals, such as the Ensemble Intercontemporain and the Philharmonie de Paris.

In addition to her opera career, Melody Louledjian is a multifaceted artist who explores various musical genres. She has released an album titled *Follement 30'* under the name Melody Lou, featuring French songs from the 1930s. She also directs performances, such as her show *Noël Swing*, and has been involved in a "Total Art" project that combines voice, painting, dance, and percussion. Her linguistic skills include fluency in French, Italian, Spanish, English, German, and Russian, with a basic understanding of Greek. Her recent projects include a duo CD titled *Ariettes à l'Ancienne* and performances in recitals and concerts across Europe.
