Savvas Ysatis

Savvas Ysatis is a Greek-born electronic musician known for his significant contributions to the genre. Born on July 1, 1968, in Athens, Greece, Ysatis developed an early interest in synthesizers, inspired by artists like Kraftwerk and Jean Michel Jarre. He spent a considerable part of his life in New York City, where he pursued his music career, beginning at the age of 15. During his time in New York, he collaborated with Taylor Deupree on various projects, including Seti, Futique, and Arc, under different monikers. His work spans ambient, trip-hop, and techno styles, reflecting his versatility as an artist.

Ysatis returned to Athens in 1997 to support the growing Greek electronic music scene. He founded the Sonar label and worked on the Allou project. His recent releases include "Fade to Black (Remixes)," "Archiv #08," "Origin," "Hourglass," "Select," "Alright," and "Highrise." Ysatis' music is characterized by its complex melodies and energetic beats, creating a captivating experience for listeners. His ability to blend different electronic genres has made him a notable figure in the music community.
