Skymning

Skymning is a Swedish band formed in 1996, known for their melodic power/death metal sound. Initially, the band consisted of Kim Andreasson on vocals, Johannes Åberg and Christian Åkerberg on guitars, Sebastian Aronsson on bass, and Ola Lundberg on drums. Over the years, the lineup changed, with Robert Tyborn Axt taking over vocals after Kim's departure. Skymning released several albums, including "Stormchoirs" in 1999, "Artificial Supernova" in 2002, and "Machina Genova" in 2004. The band's music evolved from a more traditional metal sound to incorporate industrial elements. Skymning has been inactive since 2005.

The name "Skymning" translates to "dusk" in Swedish, reflecting the atmospheric and sometimes melancholic tone of their music. Despite their inactivity, Skymning's discography remains notable in the metal genre for its blend of melodic and aggressive elements.
