Luis Conte

Luis Conte is a world-renowned Cuban-born percussionist best known for his fluid versatility and impeccable groove, which have made him one of the most in-demand session and touring musicians in the industry. Born in Santiago de Cuba, Conte moved to the United States at a young age, bringing his Afro-Cuban heritage with him. He’s built a prolific career playing with a stunning range of artists across genres—including Madonna, Phil Collins, James Taylor, Eric Clapton, and Shakira—lending his signature touch to countless hit records and tours.

Known for his mastery of traditional Cuban percussion instruments like the congas, bongos, and timbales, Conte has also released several solo albums showcasing his Latin jazz roots and rhythmic creativity, including works like Cuban Dreams and En Casa De Luis.
