Glass Apple Bonzai is a Canadian synthpop project led by Daniel X. Belasco, also a member of Defence Mechanism. Initially, the project was a retro synthpop solo endeavor, but it has evolved over time to incorporate elements of darkwave and gothic rock, moving beyond its original 80's synthpop throwback roots. Glass Apple Bonzai has released several albums and EPs, including "Brother Bones," which showcases the band's evolving sound by merging different genres into a modern style.
