Esteve Pi

**Esteve Pi** is a renowned Spanish jazz drummer born on August 5, 1977, in Falset. He began his musical journey at the age of eight, first learning music at a local school before starting to play the drums two years later. Pi joined the local "Banda Villa de Falset" at twelve and continued with his jazz and drum studies at the "Taller de Músics" in Barcelona from the age of nineteen. During his career, he has furthered his skills with stints in New York City, studying under Joe Farnsworth and Kenny Washington.

Pi has become a highly sought-after musician, performing across Europe, the USA, Brazil, Colombia, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Senegal, and South Africa. He has collaborated with notable artists such as Terell Stafford, Joe Magnarelli, Jim Rotondi, Jon Faddis, and Phil Woods, and has toured with the likes of Andrea Motis and Rita Payés. Additionally, Pi has recorded with the Sant Andreu Jazz Band and more recently released albums such as *Unusual Trio* with Ignasi Terraza and Adrian Cunningham.
