Youn Sun Nah is a South Korean jazz vocalist renowned for her remarkable vocal techniques and emotive performances. Born on August 28, 1969, in Seoul, she initially ventured into music influenced by her father, a choir conductor, and her musical education at the Korea National University of Arts. However, it wasn't until she moved to France in 1995 to study jazz and French chanson at the National Music Institute of Beauvais and the Paris National Music Academy that her unique fusion of genres began to solidify.
