Krikka Reggae, an Italian reggae band formed in 2001 on the Ionian coast of Basilicata, started as a grassroots project during beachside parties and dance hall gatherings. Known for blending reggae with local Bernalda dialect, they gained prominence through anti-nuclear activism in 2003 and festival circuits, later opening for acts like Buju Banton. Their discography spans two decades, including albums like *Da mò s'avàl* (2005), *Liberati* (2011), and *Finchè la musica suona* (2022), with a 2017 live album celebrating their 15-year journey. Recently, they joined Kido Music Group to amplify their positive messaging and social consciousness through music.
