Mamalaid Rag

MAMALAID RAG (ママレイド ラグ) is a Japanese rock band that began in Saga Prefecture in 2002. Over the years, the band has had a few lineup changes but currently features members Tanaka Hirokuni, Eguchi Naoki, and Yamada Junichiro. Initially, the band was active with multiple members until 2006, after which it became a solo project for Tanaka, though he still refers to it as a band. MAMALAID RAG is known for its music style, which draws from the 1960s and 1970s, often compared to the influential Japanese band Haruomi Hosono's Happy End. They have released several albums, including "春雨道中" (2002), "SPRING MIST" (2010), and "GOODBYE" (2023) .
