Max Werner is a Dutch musician, best known as the lead vocalist and drummer of the rock band Herman Brood & His Wild Romance, and later as a solo artist. Born on February 27, 1953, Max Werner initially gained fame with Herman Brood & His Wild Romance, before pursuing a solo career in the 1980s.

As a solo artist, Max Werner released several albums, including the 1981 album "Rain in May", which spawned the hit single of the same name, as well as several other albums throughout his career.
