The Poets
The Poets were a Canadian psychedelic rock band formed in Toronto in 1964. They are best known for their 1967 hit single "Baby Don't You Do It", which reached the top 10 in Canada and the US. The band released four albums before disbanding in 1969. Their music was characterized by its fuzzed-out guitars, swirling organ, and catchy melodies. The Poets were one of the most popular psychedelic rock bands in Canada in the 1960s, and their music continues to be enjoyed by fans of the genre today.
