Kasabian

Kasabian is an English rock band that formed in Leicester in 1997. Named after Linda Kasabian, a member of the Charles Manson cult, the band is known for their expansive and electronic-tinged sound that borrows from various genres, including alternative rock, electronic music, and psychedelia. The group, initially comprised of vocalist Tom Meighan, guitarist and vocalist Sergio Pizzorno, bassist Chris Edwards, and drummer Ian Matthews (who joined in 2004), rose to prominence with a self-titled debut album in 2004, known for singles like "Club Foot" and "L.S.F. (Lost Souls Forever)."

As of their latest releases, Kasabian has undergone significant changes. In 2020, Tom Meighan left the band due to personal issues, and Sergio Pizzorno took over as the lead vocalist, having already been the main songwriter and a distinctive creative force behind the group's evolving sound. Their sound has continued to evolve with albums like "48:13" and "For Crying Out Loud," which showcased their ability to juxtapose rock anthems with experimental soundscapes. "The Alchemist's Euphoria," one of their more recent works, emphasizes their continuous innovation and ability to adapt to the changing music landscape while maintaining a distinct and engaging artistic identity.
