Goofus Five is a string band that plays old-time American music. The band was formed in 2014 in Asheville, North Carolina, and is composed of fiddler and vocalist Jake Blount, guitarist and vocalist Nora Brown, banjoist and vocalist Ben Krakauer, and bassist and vocalist Dominick Leslie. Goofus Five's music is characterized by its energetic and playful approach to traditional American folk music, and the band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe.
