Audionom

Audionom is a Swedish band from Stockholm, formed in 1999 by members of two local bands, Apparat and PVC. They are known for their work in the genres of krautrock and space rock, drawing inspiration from bands like Hawkwind, Einstürzende Neubauten, and Neu!. The band gained popularity for their lively and abrasive live performances, which often incorporated films by member Martin Malm. Audionom released several albums and singles, including "Retrospektiv" in 2005, "Superior" in 2009, and more recent releases like "Europa" and "Total". Their music is characterized by a hypnotic and pummeling sound, reflecting their experimental roots.

Audionom's discography also includes "Glass Bees" and "Tell It to the Wind", showcasing their continued exploration of experimental rock. The band's history involves a break-up before reuniting in 2007, allowing them to continue producing music. Their work has been released on labels such as Gone Beyond Records, iDEAL Recordings, and Kemado Records.
