Daniel Lopatin

Daniel Lopatin is an American electronic musician, composer, and producer best known for his work as Oneohtrix Point Never. He first gained attention for warped, nostalgic synth music that blended ambient drift with glitchy, sample-driven collage, and he’s since become a key figure in forward-leaning experimental pop and electronic music—equally comfortable making abstract soundscapes as he is twisting hooks into something strange and new.

Alongside his solo releases, Lopatin has built a major profile as a film and TV composer. He scored the Safdie brothers’ *Good Time* and *Uncut Gems* (the latter earning him a Cannes Soundtrack Award), and he also composed the score for *The Girlfriend Experience* (season 1). His production and collaborative work includes co-writing and co-producing several tracks on The Weeknd’s *After Hours*, and he’s collaborated with artists across the indie and experimental spectrum, including ANOHNI.
