Earth
Earth is a drone metal band formed in 1990 by Dylan Carlson. The band's music is characterized by its slow, heavy, and repetitive sound, which has been described as "glacial" and "apocalyptic." Earth has released a number of critically acclaimed albums over the years, including "Earth 2: Special Low-Frequency Version" (1993), "Pentastar: In the Style of Demons" (1996), and "The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull" (2008). The band continues to tour and record, and their latest album, "Full Upon Her Burning Lips," was released in 2019.
