Andereya Baguma

Andereya Baguma is a talented Afro-fusion/alternative singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Uganda. His musical journey began in the slums of Kamwokya, where he first picked up the guitar. Baguma went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Makerere University, marking a significant milestone in his career. He is the founder of 'Nze Music,' an A&R, booking, and management firm dedicated to promoting authentic African music. Andereya has released notable works, including his debut solo album 'Andereya' and the EP 'Conversations,' which explore themes of cultural exchange with international collaborations. His music has been featured in various media outlets and has led to performances at prominent events like Sofar Sounds and the Pearl Rhythm Festival.

Andereya Baguma is also known for his work with popular Ugandan bands such as Msetonation Band and Baximba Waves Jazz Band. He hosts music festivals like "Endongo Munsiko," which focuses on nature and regional music, and "Embozzi Z’ekyoto," a concert series centered around storytelling through spoken word and music. His recent projects include working as a music director for the Adungu tale musical production. With a diverse musical style that blends Afro-fusion, World Music, and Afro-soul, Andereya continues to make a mark in the international music scene.
