LIL SAAKO

Lil Saako, whose real name is Mouctar Diop, is a talented Guinean artist born in 1991. He is known for his groundbreaking fusion of traditional Guinean influences and modern hip-hop, making him one of the most innovative figures in West Africa's music scene. Born and raised in the vibrant Coléah-centre district of Conakry, Lil Saako began his music career with the group Instinct Killers. Initially a dancer, he gradually became a singer from 2011 and formed a dynamic duo with Fish Killer, releasing several successful albums, including "Nouvelle Expérience" and "Akhril Djaman."

Lil Saako's solo career took off in 2022 with the viral hit "Zapata," which blended captivating rhythms and choreography, earning him widespread acclaim and several awards. His success extends beyond Guinea, reflecting his international appeal and contributions to African musical culture. Despite achieving significant success, Lil Saako remains connected to his roots and regularly pays tribute to Instinct Killers.
