Sahara Grim

Sahara Grim is an independent songwriter and musician based in Los Angeles, originally from San Diego. Born in 1997, she has a rich musical background spanning classic rock, bossa nova, Indian classical, and jazz. Her eclectic sound is reminiscent of artists like Alice Phoebe Lou and Hiatus Kaiyote. Sahara has been active in the underground indie music scene, collaborating with artists such as Nailah Hunter and Lionmilk, and has shared bills with notable acts like The Marías and Léa Sen. She majored in Ethnomusicology at UCLA and has explored themes of nature, art, spirituality, and self-empowerment in her performance art.

Sahara Grim is set to release her debut album *Fable*, produced by Luke Temple, which follows her earlier EP *Current of Being* released in 2018. Her recent single "Time Wanderer" showcases her unique blend of indie pop with a worldly quality, featuring harpist Nailah Hunter and tabla player Arjun Manoj. The song is a playful exploration of overcoming past difficulties and embracing joy, reflecting her evolving artistic direction. Sahara's music often combines dreamy vocals with abstract sonics, making her a compelling figure in the indie music scene.
