Jang Wooyoung, born on April 30, 1989, in Busan, South Korea, is a talented singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor best known as a member of the popular K-pop boy band 2PM under JYP Entertainment. He debuted with 2PM in 2008 and quickly gained recognition as the group's main dancer and a sub vocalist. Wooyoung also launched his solo career in 2012 with his first extended play titled *23, Male, Single*, and as of 2025, he has released six EPs, including his latest work *I'm into*.
Beyond his music career, Wooyoung has ventured into acting, famously appearing as Jason in the 2011 drama *Dream High*. He has also hosted several TV shows, notably SBS's *Inkigayo*, and after completing his military service in 2020, he has been active in variety programming, including a role in the Netflix show *Screwballs*.
