Harmful was a rock band from Frankfurt, Germany, founded in 1992. The band's core lineup included Aren Emirze on vocals and guitar, Nico Heimann on drums, and Chris Aidonopoulos on bass. Over the years, Harmful released several albums, with their style often drawing comparisons to early Helmet and occasionally to Blackmail. Notable albums include *Counterbalance*, *Wromantic*, *Sanguine*, *Sis Masis*, and *7*, the latter produced by Billy Gould of Faith No More. Gould even joined the band briefly as a fourth member and participated in their tour in support of *7* in 2007. Harmful disbanded in 2014 after touring for their final album *Sick and tired of being sick and tired*.
