Haggus

Haggus is a fierce three-piece mincecore band hailing from Oakland, California, formed in 2014. Known for their greasy, down-tuned sound that blends traditional mincecore with elements of goregrind and punk, they draw heavy influence from legendary acts like Agathocles. Over the years, Haggus has been incredibly prolific, releasing over 70 recordings including EPs, splits, and full-length albums. Their energetic and raw style is very much rooted in the DIY grind scene, and they have toured extensively across the US and Europe, building a reputation for chaotic, high-octane live shows.

Despite lineup changes, especially on bass, the current lineup features Hambone (vocals, guitar), Lil Giz (drums), and Gorehog (vocals, bass). Haggus continues to push boundaries within the grindcore community, releasing recent EPs such as "3 Cadavers, 2 Corpses and a Carcass" and "No End in Suffering," and are working on their fourth full album. Their relentless output and dedication have made them a staple in the modern grindcore and goregrind underground, celebrated for combining brutal themes with an animal rights message and a party attitude that keeps fans coming back for more.
