Catharsis is a metalcore band from San Diego, California. Formed in 2015, the band consists of vocalist Anthony Green, guitarists Josh Schroeder and Jeff Turner, bassist Greg Dunn, and drummer Alex Lopez. Catharsis has released three EPs to date: "On the Outside" (2016), "Forget It" (2018), and "Submerge" (2020). Their music is characterized by its heavy riffs, soaring vocals, and introspective lyrics. Catharsis has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as Killswitch Engage, August Burns Red, and The Devil Wears Prada.
