Saltillo is the artistic pseudonym of Menton J. Matthews III, an American multi-instrumentalist, artist, and composer who skillfully blends a variety of genres, ranging from electronic to trip-hop, and infuses them with elements of classical music. Known for his haunting viola compositions, layered beats, and atmospheric soundscapes, Saltillo has carved a niche for himself within the dark and introspective corners of the alternative music scene.

With albums like "Ganglion", originally released in 2006, Saltillo established a sound that was both cerebral and emotionally charged, often featuring rich strings and mournful melodies, backed by intricate rhythms.
