Aspid is a Russian progressive thrash metal band formed in 1988 in Volgodonsk, located in the Rostov region of Russia. Over the years, they have built a niche following with their powerful blend of thrash energy and progressive complexity, standing out as a notable act from the Soviet and post-Soviet metal scene. The band’s lineup has included members like Aleksander Sidorchik on guitar, Vitaliy Hlopov on vocals, Vladimir Pzhenkov on bass, and Vasiliy Shapovalov on drums.
