Stoneburner is the brainchild of Portland-based musician and visual artist Steven Archer, blending industrial, darkwave, and cyberpunk influences into a gritty sonic universe since the early 2010s. Known for fusing organic instrumentation with pulsing electronic beats and dystopian lyrical themes, Archer’s project thrives on raw, atmospheric tracks like "This Machine Kills" and "The Great Filter." His recent work—including collaborations ("Slaves (Stoneburner Mix)"), reissues ("Red Into Tooth And Claw"), and eerie dancefloor experiments ("Cellular Dreams")—reinvents industrial music’s brooding intensity with cinematic flair. When not crafting dissonant bangers, Archer doubles as half of darkwave duo Ego Likeness and creates unsettling multimedia art, making Stoneburner a DIY force equally at home in music festivals and avant-garde galleries.
