Trio Xoxocapa is a Mexican folk music group that specializes in the traditional music of the Huasteca region. The trio consists of three musicians: Juan Reynoso on the jarana huasteca, a small guitar-like instrument; Miguel Ángel García on the violin; and José Luis Hernández on the quinta huapanguera, a five-string bass guitar. Trio Xoxocapa has been performing together for over 20 years and has released several albums of their music. Their music is characterized by its lively rhythms, intricate melodies, and beautiful harmonies.
