Dona Inah, born Ignez Francisco da Silva on May 17, 1935, in Araras, São Paulo, Brazil, was a renowned Brazilian samba singer. She began her musical journey under the guidance of her father, a trompetist, and studied the bandolim for three years. Dona Inah's early career included participating in radio programs and performing with orchestras. However, she initially set aside her musical ambitions. It wasn't until later in life that she returned to music, releasing her debut album *Divino Samba Meu* in 2004, which earned her the Brazilian Music Award for "Revelation" in 2005. She went on to release *Olha Quem Chega* in 2008 and *Fonte de Emoção* in 2013. Dona Inah's music took her to international stages, including performances in Spain, France, and Morocco. She passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 87.
