Medieval Steel is a cult classic American heavy metal band that emerged from Tennessee in the early 1980s, riding the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal wave with swords held high. Known for their epic, armor-clad sound and medieval fantasy themes, they gained underground fame with their 1984 demo *The Dungeon Tapes* – a raw, energetic collection that became a holy grail for tape traders. After disbanding in the late '80s, they shocked fans by reuniting in 2005 with renewed vigor, delivering battle-ready anthems like *Blood Moon* and *Sword of the King* that blend old-school riffage with mythic storytelling about vikings, dark castles, and raven-eyed warriors.
