Hypermass

Hypermass is a Melodic Death Metal band from Trondheim, Norway, formed in 2012. The band consists of Markus Sundet on vocals, Sindre Dagestad and Thomas Pedersen on guitars, Martin Nordvik on bass, and Torgeir Aambø on drums. They have released a debut full-length album titled *Empyrean* in recent years, which showcases their blend of melodic and heavy elements. *Empyrean* features nine tracks, including "The Constant," "Hivemind," and "The Degenerate Strain," highlighting the band's ability to craft complex yet accessible songs with strong choruses and energetic performances.

Hypermass's musical journey began when the members were teenagers, jamming together and participating in local music competitions. Their early influences include classic metal bands like Iron Maiden and Metallica, with later inspirations from progressive and death metal genres. The band has undergone lineup changes over the years, but they continue to be active in the music scene, with plans for live performances and further musical development.
