Sivamani

Sivamani, often referred to simply as "Drums Sivamani," is one of India’s most celebrated percussionists, known for his electrifying performances and eclectic style that blends Indian classical rhythms with global percussion influences. Born Anandan Sivamani in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, he started playing drums at a young age and was widely recognized as a prodigy. Over the years, he's played with a wide array of artists, including legendary composer A.R. Rahman, and has been a key contributor to numerous film soundtracks and independent music projects.

Sivamani is renowned for his dynamic stage presence and for incorporating a variety of unconventional instruments and objects—like water drums and cans—into his performances, making every show a visceral, high-energy experience. In addition to his solo work, including albums like "Mahaleela" and "Drums On Fire," he's collaborated across genres in both Indian and international music scenes, solidifying his place as a rhythmic powerhouse in the global music world.
