Müller & Makaroff

**Müller & Makaroff** is a musical collaboration between Swiss musician Christoph H. Müller and Argentine musician Eduardo Makaroff. The duo met in Paris during the formation of the Gotan Project in 1998. Both artists had established careers in their respective countries and in France before joining forces. Beyond their work with Gotan Project, Müller & Makaroff have composed music for films, documentaries, and advertising. One of their notable projects was the soundtrack for the documentary film *El Gaucho* by Andres Jarach, which led to their first release as Müller & Makaroff in 2008. They have also been involved in other projects, including collaborations with Catherine Ringer in the band Plaza Francia and more recently, the ANTROPOCENO project, which explores themes of climate change.

Müller & Makaroff's work often blends traditional tango with modern elements, reflecting their diverse musical backgrounds. Their recent releases include music for short films and projects that highlight their versatility and commitment to innovative musical expressions. Their collaboration continues to evolve, incorporating various themes and styles into their compositions.
