**Ras-I** is a multifaceted musician from Kingston, Jamaica, born Immanuel Kerr in August 1990. Raised in a musical family, Ras-I was exposed to instruments and music from a young age. He is known for his roots reggae style, which incorporates elements of old school R&B and funk, drawing inspiration from legendary artists like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Smokey Robinson. Ras-I sings, writes, arranges, produces, and plays various instruments, including guitar, keyboards, and percussion. His music aims to uplift and enlighten listeners, offering relatable and positive perspectives on life.

Ras-I's background includes a brief stint at the University of Technology (UTECH) and Exelsior Sixth Form, reflecting his diverse educational pursuits. His music career evolved from producing beats to fully fledged production and eventually becoming an artist. His recent works include releases such as *King's Highway*, *Soulmate*, and *Caribbean Queen*. He has also collaborated on projects like the *Gratitude Riddim* juggling EP and is working on creating a lasting legacy in the reggae genre.
