Mỹ Tâm

Mỹ Tâm, born Phan Thị Mỹ Tâm on January 16, 1981, in Da Nang, Vietnam, is a renowned Vietnamese singer and songwriter. She began her musical journey by studying vocal music at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory. Mỹ Tâm rose to fame in the early 2000s with hits like "Tóc Nâu Môi Trầm" (Brown Hair, Dark Lips) and "Hát Với Dòng Sông" (Sing with the River). Her third studio album, "Yesterday & Now," released in 2003, included signature songs like "Ước Gì" (I Wish) and solidified her position as a leading figure in Vietnamese pop music. Over the years, she has continued to evolve, releasing successful albums and performing in numerous concerts, including notable events like the MTV EXIT concert and her "First Love" concert in Seoul.

Mỹ Tâm is celebrated for her versatility and influence in the Vietnamese music scene. She has been honored with numerous awards, including being named the Super Icon of the Year at the Elle Style Awards 2019. Her music spans genres such as pop, dance-pop, and acoustic, showcasing her dynamic talent.
