The Legendary Kid Combo

The Legendary Kid Combo is an Italian folk punk band formed in 2005 by members from various parts of northern Italy, including Voghera, Brescia, and Verona. Emerging from the ashes of the Kim's Teddy Bears, the band's sound is a unique blend of genres such as country, psychobilly, rockabilly, and Balkan music, which they term "cock-a-billy." Their music often features a theatrical element, with performances that resemble a mix of concert and burlesque, complete with elaborate costumes inspired by 19th-century undertakers. Over the years, they have released several albums, including "Booze, Bucks, Death & Chicks," "Viva La Muerte," "Caravansaray," and "A Blessing in Disguise," showcasing their eclectic style and energetic live performances.

The band's live shows are known for their high energy and interactive nature, often incorporating elements of theater and improvisation. Their music draws inspiration from a wide range of influences, including The Pogues, Johnny Cash, and Gogol Bordello. The Legendary Kid Combo has shared stages with notable bands like Flogging Molly and Gogol Bordello, solidifying their reputation as one of Italy's most dynamic and entertaining live acts. Their current lineup includes Luca Fortunati (Lucky Luke), Gabriele Viola (Dr. Cyclops), Michele Segala (Big Boss), Mattia Busi (El Sentenza), and Andrea Massaroni (Maestro Massa), with additional members contributing to their performances.
