EmberStorm

EmberStorm is a progressive metal band from Västerås, Sweden, founded by Peter Strömberg in the late summer of 2006. Originally a solo project, Strömberg started writing and recording music on his own, drawing from years of stored riffs and melodies. Early in 2007, his old friend and drummer Kim Söderberg joined the band after hearing the first four recorded tracks, and in June of that year, vocalist Peter Selin—bringing influences from 80’s rock—came on board, helping shape the group’s blend of modern progressive metal and classic rock sounds. Despite coming from different regions (Selin traveled from Finland), their shared musical vision helped solidify EmberStorm’s direction.

The band is known for its evolving sound, mixing progressive and power metal elements, and has worked with various studio and guest musicians over the years. While their precise discography and recent releases may not be fully detailed in available sources, songs like “Never Ending” were some of the band’s earliest recordings. EmberStorm’s music is appreciated by fans of other Swedish progressive and power metal acts such as Cloudscape, Illusion Suite, and Anthriel.
