Orange & Lemons

Orange & Lemons is a Filipino pop and alternative rock band formed in 1999 that captures the hearts of its audience through a mix of infectious melodies and nostalgic, often Beatlesque songwriting. Hailing from the province of Bulacan, the group initially gained popularity with their hit single "Pinoy Ako," which became well-known as the theme song for the reality show "Pinoy Big Brother" in 2005. The band is composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Clem Castro, also known as Clementine, bassist JM del Mundo, and drummer Ace del Mundo.

The synergy between the members of Orange & Lemons has produced a series of critically acclaimed albums, including the whimsically titled "Love in the Land of Rubber Shoes & Dirty Ice Cream" and the follow-ups "Strike Whilst the Iron Is Hot" and "Moonlane Gardens." They have a diverse range of sounds, seamlessly blending influences from western indie pop with Filipino melodic sensibilities. Despite a hiatus, the band reformed with renewed vigor, as evidenced in their recent singles such as "Pag-Ibig Sa Tabing Dagat" and "Ikaw Ang Aking Tahanan." Their music continues to resonate with a loyal fan base hungry for their poetic lyrics and timeless sound, ensuring their place in the pantheon of Filipino music greats.
