Louise Bessette is a Canadian pianist and composer who has made a name for herself in the classical music world. She is known for her passionate and expressive performances, as well as her commitment to promoting new music. Bessette has premiered over 100 new works by Canadian and international composers, and she has recorded several albums of contemporary music. She is also a dedicated educator, and she has taught at the University of Montreal and the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal.
