Mishegas

Mishegas is the electronic music project of Emilio Quezada Ibañez, a Mexico-born and New York City-based artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. His music reflects a diverse range of styles, influenced by his upbringing and interests. Mishegas released his debut EP, *Temporary Love*, in 2021, which features tracks like "Untitled," "Feel It All," "Temporary Love," "Sentir," and "Separate Ways." The EP was written while Quezada was living in Chicago and finished in New York City. He has toured extensively across the US and Canada, recently opening for Alex Lustig on the 'Fate' 2023 spring tour. Mishegas is known for blending multiple instrumental avenues and inspirations into cohesive music, often incorporating textures and atmospheres from recorded instruments, field recordings, or samples.

Mishegas' music often explores themes of nostalgia and emotional depth, as seen in his debut EP. He has also been involved in remixing tracks for other artists, such as Rosie Darling's "Heavy." Currently, Mishegas is working on his debut album, continuing to evolve his unique sound. His background in film, sports, travel, design, and skincare content adds to his eclectic approach to music.
