Oliver Wakeman

Oliver Wakeman is a British keyboardist and composer known for his work in progressive rock and his rich musical heritage. The son of legendary Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman, Oliver has carved out his own path in the world of rock and symphonic music, blending classical influences with modern prog sensibilities. He has released several solo albums including The 3 Ages of Magick and Anam Cara, and has collaborated with notable artists such as Clive Nolan on concept albums like Jabberwocky and The Hound of the Baskervilles.

Oliver was also a member of Yes from 2008 to 2011, contributing to the album Fly from Here before being replaced by Geoff Downes. Beyond his time in Yes, Oliver teamed up with former Strawbs guitarist Gordon Giltrap for the well-received album Ravens & Lullabies. His discography reflects a deep commitment to storytelling and intricate arrangements, making him a respected figure among modern prog rock fans.
