Schwellheim

Schwellheim is a Swiss band from Basel, specializing in Reggae and Dancehall music. Formed in 2005 in Allschwil, a suburb of Basel, the group has maintained a consistent lineup of eleven members over the years. Their musical journey has included the release of three full albums—*Klassiker* (2008), *Nur dini Seel* (2011), and *Musik für di* (2015)—as well as an EP titled *Ei Schritt vorwärts…* (2022). The band has performed over 150 concerts across Switzerland and Germany and notably placed fifth in the Swiss album charts with *Musik für di*. Schwellheim's style has evolved to blend various genres while retaining their signature energetic beats and captivating horn sections, making each concert a lively event.

Schwellheim returned to the music scene with vigor after a creative pause, releasing new music that continues to resonate with their fans. Their recent EPs have been well-received, showcasing the band's ability to adapt and grow while staying true to their roots in Reggae and Dancehall. With a career spanning over eighteen years, Schwellheim remains a vibrant presence in the Swiss music scene.
