The Like

**The Like** was a Los Angeles-based indie rock trio who brought a fresh, retro-inspired energy to the 2000s music scene. Formed in the early 2000s, the band featured Elizabeth "Z" Berg (vocals/guitar), Charlotte Froom (bass), and Tennessee Thomas (drums), blending catchy garage-rock hooks with a modern twist. Their debut album, *Are You Thinking What I'm Thinking?* (2005), channeled 60s girl-group vibes and earned them a cult following. They later teamed up with producer Mark Ronson for their sophomore album, *Release Me* (2010), which polished their sound with soulful, danceable tracks like the title single. Known for their sharp wit and infectious melodies, The Like toured with acts like Arctic Monkeys and Muse before going on hiatus. Members later pursued solo projects, with Z Berg diving into solo work and collaborations (JJAMZ) and Tennessee Thomas exploring fashion. Their music remains a nostalgic gem for fans of smart, stylish indie rock.
