Partita Radicale

Partita Radicale is an ensemble that specializes in the intersection of improvisation and composition. Founded in 1989 by Thomas Beimel and other musicians, the group has been involved in various musical projects, including collaborations with notable Romanian composers. Since 1993, they have worked on releasing contemporary Romanian music, with two CDs published by sonoton in Munich. The ensemble is known for its innovative approach to music, often blending different styles and techniques to create unique soundscapes.

Partita Radicale has also been associated with other artists, such as Gunda Gottschalk, who joined the ensemble in 1991. Together, they have explored a wide range of musical expressions, including silent movie programs with live music and music theater productions.
