Kateryna Suprun is a celebrated Ukrainian violist known for her expressive performances and dedication to contemporary Ukrainian music. She is a member of the “Kyiv Camerata” National Ensemble of Soloists and has premiered over 15 works by Ukrainian composers written specifically for viola. Suprun has won the prestigious Levko Revutsky National Prize and has toured internationally, sharing Ukraine’s rich musical heritage with audiences across Europe, the Middle East, and Japan.
Aside from performing with major Ukrainian orchestras and chamber groups, Kateryna is also a member of the Danapris String Quartet, which focuses on promoting new Ukrainian compositions. She has played a key role in cultural projects like the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra and advocates passionately for her country's music on the global stage. Her recent recordings include *Constellation. Ukrainian Music for Viola Solo*, showcasing her commitment to contemporary Ukrainian repertoire.
