Sequoya

Sequoya is the electronic music project of Yan Krassowski, born in 1979 in Darmstadt, Germany. His passion for electronic sounds began in the mid-1990s, inspired by the local techno scene and DJs like Sven Väth. After early experiences spinning techno and transitioning through the psytrance scene with the Gecko Crew under the alias Yan Gecko, Yan created the Sequoya project in 2012. Since then, his music has been characterized by deep, flowing forest psytrance with a unique storytelling style and rich sound design. His debut EP "Nomad" was released in 2013 on BMSS Records, followed by "Singularity" in 2015 on Sangoma Records, and he continues to produce immersive electronic music with a mystical edge.
