Mark Camphouse is an American composer and conductor who has made a significant contribution to the world of wind band music. His compositions are known for their lyrical melodies, rich harmonies, and innovative use of instrumentation. Camphouse has received numerous awards and honors for his work, including the prestigious Ostwald Award from the American Bandmasters Association. He is currently Professor of Music at the University of Michigan, where he teaches composition and conducts the University of Michigan Symphony Band.
