Danton Boller is a versatile bassist, composer, producer, and educator based in New York City. He has had a distinguished career, touring internationally and recording with numerous top jazz artists. Notably, he was a member of the Roy Hargrove Quintet and the Grammy-nominated Roy Hargrove Big Band, Seamus Blake Quartet, Ari Hoenig’s “Punk Bop,” Willie Jones III Quartet, and the Grammy-nominated Anthony Wilson Nonet. His work with Roy Hargrove includes appearances on albums like *Earfood* and *Emergence*. Boller has also collaborated with artists outside the jazz world, such as Elvis Costello and Run the Jewels. He is currently an adjunct professor of Jazz Bass studies at Western Connecticut State University.
In recent years, Danton Boller has released his own music, including the album *SPACE* in 2023, which features original compositions and collaborations with fellow musicians like Justin Robinson and Willie Jones III.
